What is the Gift Card Program and how does it work?
The Gift Card Program is an ongoing funraiser for Marshfield Area Catholic Schools.
MACS purchases Gift Card Program certificates from various vendors at a discount. MACS
then sells those gift certificates to MACS families and MACS supporters at
face value. Nobody spends any additional money, you do not buy any chocolates,
and you do not knock on any doors.
|
Example: You buy $100 worth of grocery SCRIP certificates. The cost to you is $100
- but it only cost MACS $96.00 to $98.00. MACS just made money. It's so easy.

How do I get the Gift Card Program?
The Gift Card Program can be purchased during office hours at Columbus Catholic High School and
St John the Baptist Primary. You can also order SCRIP every other Tuesday during
the
school
year.
How do I benefit by using the Gift Card Program?
Tuition credit! After a family makes $50 profit for MACS, they get
50% of their future profit deducted from their tuition for the remainder
of the Gift Card Program year, while the other 50% goes back to MACS.
It is a win-win situation. The funding that MACS receives from the
Gift Card Program program helps provide quality Catholic education for our children.
2004-05 School Year:
Total Scrip Earned: $49,000
Total paid out for tuition credit and expenses: $19,000
Total Profit to MACS: $30,000.
One family received over $600 in tuition credit, which means they also made
over $650 for MACS!
Thank
you for your continued participation to make this program a success!
